Telehealth Services

I am pleased to offer Telehealth services as a part of my regular psychology practice. I had been conducting sessions online prior to the coronavirus pandemic and am pleased to continue to offer these services in order to offer services to patients who prefer this option due to distance or health concerns that may prevent them from coming in-person.

Teletherapy allows me to connect with patients  to provide an easily accessible option for obtaining quality psychological care from the convenience of a private location such as your home or office.  Telepsychology services allow patients to meet with me via a secure video site in real-time. I use a HIPAA-compliant site that is easy to access and requires no downloads or complicated technology. Online video therapy is now covered my most major insurance carriers including Medicare, which allows you to use your benefits to obtain services. For more information about how Telehealth is conducted in my office please click here.

In-Person Services

While many psychologist have moved their practices online exclusively, I understand that many patients prefer the option to be seen in my office. I am available for in-person sessions Monday - Friday in my office in Westlake Village. For those patients who would benefit most from a hybrid option, I am happy to work with you to determine a balance between in-person and Telehealth that works best for you and your schedule.

Patient Portal

All current patients have access to my online patient portal where they can complete forms and access information about upcoming appointments. Please click the button below to access your patient portal account.

Confidentiality & Privacy Policy

The law protects the relationship between a client and a psychotherapist, and information cannot be disclosed without written permission. I take your right to privacy very seriously as it is an important factor in our work together, which is why we will spend time reviewing the privacy policies and rules for confidentiality at the outset of treatment. I do feel that it is important for you to know there are some exceptions to privacy in psychotherapy. The key exceptions related to your safety and the safety of children and dependent adults are listed below. I invite you discuss any questions you may have about these exceptions at any point during our work together.

Exceptions include:

  • Suspected child abuse or dependent adult or elder abuse, for which I am required by law to report this to the appropriate authorities immediately.

  • If a client is threatening serious bodily harm to another person/s, I must notify the police and inform the intended victim.

  • If a client intends to harm himself or herself, I will make every effort to enlist their cooperation in ensuring their safety. If they do not cooperate, I will take further measures without their permission that are provided to me by law in order to ensure their safety.
