Dr. Davidson
Dr. Stephanie Davidson is a clincial psychologist and certified grief couselor. She currently serves as the Clinical Manager for the Couples Coping Together Against Cancer program at City of Hope Medical Center in Duarte, CA.
As a psychologist, Dr. Davidson’s goal has alway been to help patients live a values-driven life. She does this by focusing on what is most important to each person and partner that she works with. At the heart of her approach lies the belief that a strong therapeutic alliance truly is the basis for positive change.
Dr. Davidson is committed to a holistic approach that considers the impact of the mind and body on well-being. This philosophy has led her to specialize in treatment approaches that utilize cognitive-behavioral, humanistic and existential interventions to treat patients with a range of medical and mental health challenges using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and other mindfulness-based interventions.
Throughout her career, Dr. Davidson has become an expert in the area of psychooncology and has given a range of presentations around cancer and mental health. She has also developed expertise in training and supervision as she has developed and participated in a range of training programs for psychologists, psychiatrists and marriage and family interns.
